Bernkastel-Kues is found at the center of the Mid-Mosel region and is simultaneously an optimal starting point for activities to neighboring regions and cities. Retrace the steps of Roman history along the Mosel river, visit amphitheaters, bath houses, Generals villas or even Roman vineyards. For those who have a passion for the medieval, a visit to the Reichs Castle (Cochem) and the Eltz Castle are recommended. Nature, in all varieties, and well prepared paths for backpackers, motorcyclists and bicyclists are numerous in Eifel and Hunsrück.
